1. Image-tool Burning

1.1. Wiring Diagram

Note: The blue line indicates that the module debug tx is short circuited to GND. After the short circuiting, the module is re powered on to trigger entry into burning mode.

Reapplying power can be achieved by disconnecting the VCC cable or by pulling down the EN pin.

1.2. Software Download

1.3. Software Description

This software uses the module log serial port for information updates, and can burn different bin files by configuring different addresses.

Trigger method: Short circuit the module debug TX and GND to power the module back on.

If the module cannot start, you can use this software to update it.

1.4. Software Configuration

• Firstly, in the toolbar, select the chip: Ameba (RTL8721D)
• Then click Open and connect to the serial port. After the connection is completed, the display will be Close, as shown in the figure:
• When there is only an all. bin file, simply check the first item and click Browse to select the firmware bin file, as shown in the figure:

1.6. Finish Burning

After completion, remove Debug_ grounding can enter normal working mode.

After completion, remove grounding wire of Debug_TX, and powered on again, the module can enter normal working mode.
